At Rivington Park we operate a small full day care nursery for parents of children aged from six weeks to four years. The nursery is entirely seperate from school and is open for 51 weeks a year from 08.00AM-6.00PM. Many working parents who use the nursery facility do not intend their children to progress into the independent school and there is no assumption that they will although each year one or two children do move into our Reception class.

RivingtonPark Nursery benefits from its idyllic rural location, small intimate group sizes and a real family feeling. The facilities are good and the nursery children are able to benefit from the input from our skilled primary teaching team and the excellent school resources and space which school do not use during holidays and which are available at many times during the school day.

The nursery is developing its own website www.rivingtonparknursery.co.uk which shall link to the main site here. We hope to complete the new site ready for the relaunch of our nursery during the Summer 2011.

Nursery Fees 2011-2012

All fees are inclusive of nappies and meals and are calculated on the basis of attendance 51 weeks per year.  Early starts before 8.00AM by arrangement and at an additional charge.

Brief outline of Nursery
Rivington Park Nursery has a small baby unit for nine children and seperate rooms for Younger Toddlers, Older Toddlers and Pre-school. The largest group size is in pre-school which can have up to 16 children.

As with our school, we are committed to small groups of children and strive for the very best practice.

Many parents may not realise that Rivington Park started off life twenty years ago just as a nursery provider. After many years where the school has been the focus of our developments the nursery has been identified for improvements and expansion in 2011-12. New staffing, resources and building developments have been prioritised for nursery over the next three years
