Fencing at Rivington Park School
All our pupils learn to fence as part of PE.  On this part of the website the fencing pages only relate to the achievements of our school children.  Most of our pupils do not attend RIVINGTON PARK FENCING CLUB which is a community club open to all children and adults who would like to try their hand at this Olympic sport.

Click on the club link which will take you to our fencing club website for information about all our exciting community fencing activities and details about how to join the club. - Anyone can join from aged 8yrs - 80yrs!

Rivington Park Fencing Club
Rivington Park Independent School established the Rivington Park Fencing Club in 2009 to address the lack of sabre fencing available in the North West and as part of the schools commitment to the community.

Rivington Park Fencing Club open to the general public. We welcome all fencers young and old, beginners through to elite GBR international standard. Its great fun. We can cater for fencing parties for children or adults. The club can provide fencing taster sessions for primary schools, secondary schools and community groups like scouts and guides. Taster sessions can be a one off experience or part of a block programme. Scouts wishing to achieve the Master at Arms badge can do so through the club.

Come along and try this new experience!

Details about the club activities can be found by following the link to our website www.rivingtonparkfencingclub.co.uk
