Small Classes
Our small classes ensure that all children contribute positively, all the time, and in all lessons. There is no hiding place in a small class!! Pupils quickly become confident, enthusiastic participants in all lessons. They are secure in their close relationships with staff and increasingly take leaps in understanding because they are happy and well taught.

Self-esteem and independence
We celebrate individuality and achievement. Every pupil enjoys success and is rewarded for it. Progress and effort are highly valued allowing every child, not just the most academically gifted, to feel important in our school community.

Participation
Our pupils are expected to participate fully in the community. They all join in drama and musical productions as part of whole school performances and are encouraged to explore their creative talents to the full.

Bespoke learning
All pupils, including gifted and talented pupils enjoy a flexible curriculum enabling them to explore and develop their particular talents while maintaining a balanced and planned educational programme.
