Rivington Park is a small school community. Our active parents, staff and pupils enjoy a wide range of activities which extend beyond normal school and nusery life.
In addition the school actively seeks co-operative relationships with other organisations which share its community and educational objectives.

Rivington Park Parent Action Group
Some parents have formed this group to help support the school council and school/ nursery management in the ongoing development and maintenance of the site.
Rivington Park Fencing Club (established 2009)
This was set up to provide fencing opportunities for all ages groups in the Bolton and Chorley areas. It operates Monday and Wednesday Evenings at Albany Science College, Chorley
Coaches from Rivington Park are happy to provide blocks of taster sessions for schools and youth groups. Larger schools may wish to enquire about the possibility of setting up a satellite after school fencing club in their own school.
Romanian Aid Foundation
The school has formed links to help children and families in poor areas of Romania
Rhythm Time
Music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and parents. Saturday AM at Rivington Park
Rivington Park Farmers Market
This took place on the last Sunday of every month. Suspended while external grounds continue to be developed.
Drum Examination Centre
School is used two weekends a year for drum examinations.
