Recent examination results are detailed below. It is important to appreciate that Rivington Park Independent School is not academically selective and that the examination results achieved reflect a policy of full entry of children across a broad spectrumn of abilities.

Year 9 and 10 modular examinations only took place during 2011.
Following the restructure of the school in 2009 there was no Year 11 cohort for examination entry.
In 2008 an unusual proportion of pupils (40%) had specific learning difficulties
